European Plummer Terrier Register

The European Plummer Terrier Register. Dedicated for all owners and enthusiasts of Plummer terriers and as it's name suggests is simply a register for all Plummer Terriers throughout Europe and the rest of the world. 

It is in an accredited register that is the oldest in existence all other registers have been made form this register created by Glenn Welsby in the late 1980's an up to date accurate database of all Plummer Terriers of a traceable history.

The EPTR is accredited by the EPTS  and run by a panel of four EPTS  executive committee members who deal with the day to day administration. They include

The registers databases contain over 25 generations of the breed, dating back to the days of the breeds creation in the 1950s.

The aim of the European Plummer Terrier Register is to provide an  accurate register for all existing and future Plummer Terriers. The EPTR welcomes both pure / new blood, animals and will endeavor to register all dogs, that come within the EPTR'S rules. 

The EPTR is accredited by the EPTS  and run by a panel of four EPTS  executive committee members .

 

 

Why was the register started?

  • To supply an  accurate register and pedigrees for the many un-registered/registered Plummer Terriers.

  • As an insurance policy for the breed .

  • To help educate breeders by making information not currently available more accessible.

  • To promote new ideas - sub registers like the premier register, which will cater for all the top producing studs that maintain quality and type.

Can I get a pedigree for my dog/s?

Ultimately it will be the decision of the registrar and assistants and this will be based on the EPTR and it's aims.  The EPTR will always seek to include rather than exclude.
